是我在澳洲最開心的時光，所以我整理了雪山找工作的方法，在這邊分享給想來雪山體驗生活的朋友們。

雪山季通常從6月開始持續到10月，但大部分工作一般只會到9月下旬，具體的開工日期取決於崗位需求和天氣狀況（下雪狀況）。
雪場工作招聘申請1、2月就開放了，遞交申請後在3、4月進行後續的面試等步驟，這一階段招聘。
第二階段招聘，因為有些員工取消offer，有些公司會在5、6月還會有一些補錄，但需要的人數就不多了。

最多人選擇的職位是housekeeping(房務) / Cleaner(清潔)/ laundry (洗衣房)因為門檻低、工作內容簡單用不到多少口語交流，但申請的人比較多，所以競爭相對大一點。 然後是kitchen hand(廚助) / Waiter(服務生) ，就是在餐廳幫忙的崗位，但對比hsk來說需要點英文能力，工作條件稍微高一些，所以屈居第二。
在進階的需要證照或工作經驗 bartender(酒保需要RSA證照) / barista(咖啡師) / Cook(廚師) / Chef(主廚)
再接著是一些需要面對客戶的工作，但競爭相對小些，英文不錯的同學可以多考慮：
這類工作有tickets(售票)、rentals(租東西)、retails(店鋪售貨員)、life operation(纜車操作員)、hotel front desk(酒店前台)、guest services(客戶服務)等。

澳洲雪山主要分佈在維多利亞州、新南威爾斯州、塔斯馬尼亞州。
其中，維州和新州幾個大型雪場特別有名。 塔斯馬尼亞雪場較小，為背包客招募的職位也侷限，所以我們在討論雪山工作時，一般特別指新州、維州幾大雪場。

找工作技巧
1.如果時間足夠，可以在雪季之前，做一些飯店、餐廳，工作累積經驗(如上列敘述的工作)
若來不急投履歷的時候，記得要寫在台灣飯店、餐廳的經驗，因為沒經驗第一階段就會被刷掉。
2.開啟你的GOOGLE MAP之後，例如 打PERISHER 就會導到附近，再打 HOTEL、 RESORT、 CLUB、 LODGE 、BAR、CLEARN、Coffee、laundry等關鍵字
進去他們官網 尋找Contact 就可以搜尋到他們的聯絡電話、信箱。
雪場公司的型態有分兩種：
1.各大雪場的集團：優點:以Perisher雪場來舉個例，成為他們家的員工，你可以享受：免費在雪票、無限次乘坐Skitube、免費教練課程提、在P家大部分店舖買東西享8折折扣、租賃滑雪板有8.5折折扣。 這麼多福利，尤其對滑雪愛好者或初學者可以說很誘人了。
缺點： 薪資因為使用全職去計算薪水2022 P山(21.72稅前) 薪水較低
2.其次是小旅館、餐廳、洗衣房的招聘 優點:薪水是用caual 去算 2021Falls creek 平日26 週六 31 週日36 薪水較高
缺點：雪票需要另外購買 2024 .epic australia pass (999澳幣)、P山有些不提供住宿需要自行處理。

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a full-time (40 hours) position
• This is a primarily customer service-based role that involves waiting tables and serving food and beverages during breakfast and dinner.
• Adhere to all food safety practices and responsible service of alcohol policies and procedures in the bar and restaurant.
• Carrying out general cleaning duties and aiding the housekeeping team in preparing rooms and communal areas by cleaning and making beds, tidying and removing rubbish.
• Provide assistance to kitchen operations where required, this includes food preparation, dishwashing and kitchen cleaning duties.
• To perform such other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time
Requirements-
• Applicant must have a valid NSW RSA.

2023 Charlotte Pass Lodge All Rounders staff wanted !!
We are a 44 bed club lodge in the centre of Charlotte pass village. All meals are provided and staff live on site. We are ski in ski out and roster structure allows for plenty of ski time.
Duties include but are not limited to.
Waiting tables (breakfast & dinner only),Housekeeping (no daily services),Kitchen hand,Snow shovelling,Freight (via oversnow machine),General cleaning,Splitting wood,Stock rotation,Food preparation

We are currently looking for one male and two female staff members. Staff rooms are both twin share. All staff accommodation is located onsite.
A valid Drivers license would be desirable but not essential.
All staff are employed on a casual basis under the hospitality general award (Including penalty rates).
Plenty of ski time each day, Charlotte pass is ideal for beginners/intermediate and those looking to explore the best backcountry Australia has to offer.
Unfortunately lift pass are not included.
We would require a season long commitment from all staff (Approximately late june - late September).

Snowbird Lodge, Charlotte Pass is hiring for winter 2023! We are on the hunt for one staff member to join the All Rounders team this coming winter. If hired, you’ll be working and living on-snow at Charlotte Pass Snow Resort in the NSW Snowy Mountains. You can ski-in/out the front door. Charlotte Pass is a small family friendly snow resort and is completely snow bound in winter. Meaning no cars and very small crowds. Snowbird lodge caters for up to 44 guests and provides three meals a day during their stay. Your main roles as lodge hand would be general cleaning/sanitizing of public areas, food prep, customer service, food service, dishwashing, manual lifting and weekly housekeeping. Along with your wage, accommodation, food and a lift pass are included in your package. You will have your own room with ensuite. Your accomodation is located metres from work and the ski slopes. You'd be working with the management couple Patrick and Ingrid and one other staff member. It’s a busy winter with split shifts with one day off each week but you have big breaks between meal services to enjoy the mountain or relax. This is a great position for someone wanting good ride time, while saving money and the chance to live on snow. Terama Ski Club is seeking All Rounders the services of an experienced couple to manage a 12 room, 44 person family oriented Club Lodge located on Mt Buller Victoria. The period of engagement is for the 2023 Winter Season (June long weekend to mid/late September). You will ideally have experience in lodge management of a similar size and nature to Terama Ski Club.
Responsibilities include:
• Daily operation of the Ski Lodge.
• Welcoming members and public guests
• Changeover of bed linen (Daily)
• Maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of the lodge and appropriate behavior of guests
• Set up and clean-up of Continental breakfast each morning
• Maintain appropriate presentation of common areas and facilities, including daily cleaning of bathrooms and common areas
• Administer any Covid 19 rules required

常規雪場工作無法延長簽證，除非參與災後重建相關工作；

雪場的住宿不是很好找，整體來說比較緊缺。 有一些大的雪場可以提供員工宿舍，但是要付費，費用也偏貴；而一些自營店舖老闆會包吃包住，這種就是最佳選擇了，但比較少，遇到了就好好把握吧！ 能節省不少開支呢。
*交通方面，其實不用太擔心，開始工作後總能找到同事搭車的或請老闆或公司幫忙。

在雪山工作比較冷哦～ 怕冷的同學冷靜的再考慮看看，不怕冷的同學也記得提前準備一些禦寒衣物鞋子什麼的。
